I’m Dawn, retired early from a career in nursing, mum to an adult son, three cats and a mad chocolate Labrador! I’m a northerner, and live with my partner who is from Essex so we are doing our bit to breach the north/south divide 😁 I managed to complete a degree with the Open University (part-time) before I retired, despite many ‘I can’t do this!’ moments! I love reading, history, researching my family tree, and theatre (oh, and afternoon tea 😉) and have to confess to being a bit sweary 🤐
